Membership of Kendo na hEireann

Membership of Kendo na hEireann is open to all kenshi practicing in Ireland. Membership covers your insurance and also your membership of the European Kendo Federation and International Kendo Federation. It is necessary to be a member of an official Kendo Federation in order to take gradings in Ireland or Europe.

The membership fees are as follows:

Ordinary membership fee: EUR 60
Family membership: EUR 80
Student /unemployed/apprentice (ID required): EUR 40
Junior between 10 yrs & 18 yrs: EUR 30
Kids under 10 yrs: free
Temporary Membership: EUR 20

Temporary membership is for those beginning kendo and is valid for three months. After this time the balance can be paid to upgrade to full membership if the member intends to continue with kendo. Fees should be paid to your club leader who will forward to the federation.
